The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing now grows to $161 million. with a cash option of $75.2 million.

The Powerball lottery jackpot is no longer in the running to become the largest lottery jackpot of all time. After two months of rollovers, the jackpot was won at $1.3 billion with a cash option of $608.9 million on Saturday, April 6.

Exactly one month later, the Powerball jackpot dropped from $215 million back down to $20 million again, when one ticket in Florida matched all five numbers and the Powerball in the drawing on Monday, May 6.
The Powerball jackpot has since rolled over nine times and now sits at $143 million, with a cash option of $66.8 million, for Wednesday's drawing.
